‘Kimunyong Cup’ will be held in 2nd~6th, August at Taekwondowon, South Korea
The '2023 Kimunyong Cup International Open Taekwondo Championships'(here-in-after, referred to as Kimunyong Cup) will be held from 2nd, August to 6th August at the 'Taekwondowon' in Muju-gun, Jeollabuk-do, South Korea.
The 'Kimunyong Cup' is a championships brand promoted by the 'Kimunyong Sports Committee(President Jae-chun Choi)' as a focus project to honor the Taekwondo achievements of Mr. Un-yong Kim, who was the first president of the 'World Taekwondo Federation(WT)' and 'Kukkiwon(World Taekwondo Headquarter)', and to pursue international relations and cultural exchanges through Taekwondo.
At this time, the 'Kimunyong Cup' will be held at T1 Stadium of Taekwondowon.
According to the 'Kimunyong Cup International Open Taekwondo Championships Organizing Committee,' this championships will be officially approved as a G-1 events by 'World Taekwondo(President Chungwon Choue, WT)', and Taekwondo organizations such as ▲Korea Taekwondo Association(Presdient Jin-bang Yang, KTA), ▲Asia Taekwondo Union(President Kyu-seok Lee, ATU).
